Lucas Kloosterboer is multi-instrumentalist and text performer, and has a degree in Dutch language. His work revolves around big sound, rituals, different forms of yelling, and above all (or below all) rhythm. The transcendentality of endless repetition, the earthiness of a good groove, the magic of a complex interlocking pattern.

Others have described him as a 'freejazz-faun', 'iconoclast', 'slightly down in the mouth', or 'frustrated and discombobulated'. In 2021 he was runner up at the Dutch Poetry Slam championship. As a musician and performer he plays with the likes of BUI, collectief Wezen, MTG Overhoop, Mistige Bois, and Neefje Wentelteefje & De Paggareductie.
