Mees Siderius

Mees Siderius is a Dutch percussionist and multidisciplinary artist known for his immersive sound performances and collaborative projects. He studied the Master program Musician 3.0 at the Utrechts Conservatorium, where he also completed his Bachelor's in Jazz and Pop. Siderius is a founder and member of BUI, a performing an organising collective for improvised arts and plays in the Utrecht Jazz ArchipeI. His work often explores themes of memory, repetition, and the interplay between sound and space. Siderius's approach blends music with elements of theatre and visual art, creating unique, site-specific experiences. Mees is teacher at the conservatory of Utrecht, performers as percussionist and does various site-specific projects.
